Jenna is an Emmy-winning documentary producer based in Brooklyn who works across features, series, and shorts. Her most recent feature, State of Firsts (dir: Chase Joynt) premiered at Tribeca 2025 and went on to win awards at dozens of festivals worldwide.  Currently she is the creator/showrunner of a new true crime series for HBO. She’s also actively developing projects with partners like Cinemart, Boardwalk, XTR, Rolling Stone Films and Optimist; all of which leverage her unique instinct for premium storytelling that spans pop culture, nuanced true crime, and urgent social issues. She was the former Head of Nonfiction Development at Optimist, an impact-driven documentary studio with a track record of powerful independent features.
